Cancellation and Returns
You may cancel the booking up to 12 hours before the journey without any cancellation charges for all services. However, last-minute cancellations might cause a loss to the company, therefore we recommend canceling as soon as you get to know the change of your travel plans. You can cancel your booking online through www.solacab.com.
Liability
- SolaCab will cancel services and provide 100% refund (within 30 days of the original booking date), in the event of circumstances beyond the control of SolaCab.
- If the car breaks down during the journey, SolaCab will provide an alternative vehicle within a practical time allowance.
- SolaCab may not allow vehicles to be used to carry pets, goods, or any object which can damage or soil the vehicle interior.
- In such an event, the user will be penalized with a 50% surcharge on the actual cost for repairing/cleaning the vehicle.
Termination
- Users must provide a valid identity proof in original at the time of pickup (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, PAN card, or Passport). The document shall be verified at pickup and returned after drop-off.
- SolaCab may terminate the booking and deny refund if users fail to provide at least two valid identifications with the same permanent address, or fail to produce the documents at pickup.
- No refunds will be provided for journeys terminated midway during transit.
- SolaCab reserves the right to travel through preferred and safe routes as deemed appropriate by its drivers.
- If users force drivers to take restricted roads or change the route midway without prior notice, SolaCab may terminate travel without refund.
Refunds
If you are eligible for refunds based on the “Cancellation and Returns” policy above, the refund will be remitted back to you within 5–7 working days. In case of any issues, write to us at info@solacab.com.
